Mexico “Bags to Business” Project
It all started when…
…our family lived in Puerto Escondido, Mexico for a year. Passionate about the people and culture of the country, we fell in love with the open-hearted people of Aguaje del Zapote. The community was eager to learn new skills, so we arranged to have local hammock-makers, Carmen & Fabiola, teach them to crochet. Since beginning the project in May 2019, this initiative has given Aguaje the resources & skills to build a new business, one that will impact generations to come.
