It can be challenging to name where we are along our couplehood journey, but when we can place ourselves, we can progress more efficiently.
Just like in life, there are four seasons that move through as a couple. The seasons are ever-flowing which means that at one moment we are in the Confident Season and then the next moment a life event occurs (like a pandemic, a move, a job change, a birth, a death, etc), and it puts us into the Coping Season. This is all part of the journey - life is full of highs and lows.
Understanding and naming your season will help you to move in and out of the seasons with more compassion for yourself and for your partner, with specific tools to support your needs along the way.
